Nola Lorraine Thanks for that, Lynne. That makes sense. I'm doing an historical book at the moment and I find it's somewhere in between in terms of setting and description. If I have them going into a restaurant for lunch, people know what that is. But I have to work out what they would have eaten and drunk in 1881. Probably not lattes and friands - LOL Thanks for answering.

Lynne Stringer Yes, historical ones need a bit more explaining than contemporary but not quite as much as sci-fi, I think. :-)
