Carol I'd love to see such a story, perhaps told from the viewpoint of one of Mile's descendants. I know, Lois, you weren't very fond of the term Saga - which does imply multigenerational. We have Miles' parents and grandparents, but not much about the kids. Perhaps the crisis could be interaction with those telepathic Athosians, who are, at last report, still only genetically potential.
Just a thought.
Also, I understand fully about the pull of retirement, so if this doesn't appeal to you, it's totally OK by me.

Shane Castle I remember Miles saying to Ekaterina (in Komarr I think) that on thing he wanted the history books to say about Aral is that he was noted for being Miles's father. Unless you want to count Diplomatic Immunity, I don't think we've had that story yet.
