Dena From what I understand the Amazon Only publishing model does not allow for public library lending. Independent self publishing that is available on multiple platforms does. I would love to know what your response from KDP is!

Judith Me too. They usually take about 12 hrs. I do have this on select so I can use their promotions over the holidays, but I will be publishing it on other venues after that so if they say no it will get there eventually. I did google it though, and came up with pages about amazon cooperation with Overdrive, though I did notice most were from 2012

Dena I know that Overdrive and Smashwords have an arrangement now so we can get a lot of self-pubbed stuff that way. If you know Courtney Milan she self-published her books now and they always show up on Overdrive within a few weeks of publication. She might be a good resource for you if you want to reach out to another self-pubbed author who is available to libraries.

Judith Well...They directed me back to Goodreads! Not very insightful on this issue. I will be doing a paperback in November . There is one of Libertine's Kiss so hopefully that will make it accessible then.

Dena Well, that's annoying!
Will have to wait for the paperback most likely then - as long as it is distributed through Ingram or Brodart... :)
