Richard Sorry I worded the sentence wrong I was there for her when she had these issues and a few others. She is doing better now but then I had to do everything around the house plus work. I'm glad that I had a understanding employer and I could go home for lunch and take care of things.

Cynthia Hamilton Hi Richard, I was a little confused when I read your question; at first I thought your wife was the one who was sick, then I second-guessed myself. Sorry for the confusion! I'm glad to hear that she is doing better now. Did she have Lyme? I sympathize with your situation - taking care of someone who's really ill can be all-consuming. I went through that kind of thing with my mom a few years ago when she got Alzheimer's. It really wore me out. It was so taxing, the Lyme symptoms came back. It wasn't until she was moved into a skilled nursing facility in Northern California that I started to get well again.

Bless you for being such a good husband!

Best regards,
Cynthia
