Bandit I don't see anything wrong with basing a character partially on yourself. In fact, it can be useful, because then you will be able to more easily get into that characters head. Creative writing should be fun. It's a form of expression and there shouldn't be ridiculous rules regarding where you got your inspiration from.

Joana Wow, that sounds a bit like me. I am often a victim of bullying at work, but I didn't realize it could have something to do with me loving to learn (although I am not super intelligent). I am also optimistic and take a long time to find out about the rumours which are being spread. Nowadays I take a closer look at who ever is saying bad things about me, and I often see that that's just the way they lead their lives, and that the issue is not really about me, but very much about them. Poor soles.
