Jerri A form of promotion I have noticed used by some involved in self publishing, especially of series works, is once a series has a "critical mass" of sorts, offer the first title in the series at a deep discount, to try to (1) attract new readers (2) inspire "gifting", with the hope that once the first title has been read other items in the series will be purchased at full price.

I know of several people I would like to gift with a copy of Penric's Demon.

Softness I have a few people in my online circle who've read and liked the Chalion books, but have yet to get Penric. And boy do I pester them. ^^; I drop little tidbits here and there and one of them was like "I REALLY need to get that!" And I'm smirking to myself "You think?" Pester pester, poke poke. "Read them. Read them. You will LOVE them!" Mu ha ha ha! ^^ I'm a good friend. (silly mood today)

Madeleine Holly-Rosing I talked about your books on a panel at San Diego Comic Con this year to a couple of hundred people. Hopefully, that sent some sales your way. :)

Suelibevg True that your online presence is most welcomed and appreciated. I like Penric. His attitude at times reminds me of Miles, though that might be the influence of Des, Miles as a chaos demon makes me smile.
