Like you, i get right into the character and write as though I am that person. Thinking about the range of characters, spread over many books, none of them are similar. I supposed the extremes might be Sir Philip Stern in Espionage - London, the MI5 boss, a bit if a Sydney Greenstreet in many ways and then there is the weasely, kniving Russian born researcher in Secret Cargo. As you rightly say, is much of the joy in writing.
Right. It's interesting how many personalities we harbor deep in our psyche. And it's fun to give them a voice, if only on paper. Cheers!
