Softness Yes! The deities are one of the reasons I LOVE the 5 gods universe so much! They are relatable on personal levels. I feel like I understand them and don't understand them, yet I do. As though I have to tilt my head sideways and look into a mirror to find the meaning. ^^;

Teresa Dowd Agreed so very much! Dualism is a 'one size fits all' answer to the matter of faith. Most fantasy, including the polyD&D, treats poly gods as exclusive as in dualism. Chalion charcters respect and relate to the other gods, too, and that seems so much more believable and authentic.

David Houston I have to agree. The dieities in this series WORK. While I am an orthodox (small o) Christian, the relations just feel right. I LOVE your 'saints', their powers and limitations, and the gods having to work WITH and through humanity.

Sophia I reread the Curse of Challion and Palladin of Souls (In fact I'm doing so now) because I find it spiritually meaningful. It reflects my understanding of and relationship with my own gods in a personally meaningful and nourishing way.
