that makes me feel a bit better knowing you didn't do it. however, I am upset for both of us now. I didn't have any luck trying to get my agent to break through to them because of the country boundary and copyright respect over there. I hope you have better luck than I did. Thank you for taking time to answer me as well.
There's virtually no chance my publisher will be able to do anything about it either, but I've asked them. And while I understand your frustration (obviously), I hope you also understand that it's pretty insulting for another creator to automatically assume I'm the one at fault here. Authors of traditionally published material usually have a range of "almost no choice" to "no choice at all" about things like cover art, and even if this was a legal reprint of my book, *I* still would not be the person stealing your work, and my ability to affect the fact that it's happened would be negligible. I do recognize that there are a lot of unethical people who will steal another creator's work to further their own, but I go to a lot of effort to make sure the people I work with for my self-published materials get paid properly, so I'd prefer the base assumption not be that I'm that kind of asshole.
