Well that's very disappointing. I read Branna so I know about that bit but wasn't sure about his other women before that night with Alannah. We know Alannah had feelings for him from the start so him still sleeping around but hanging with Alannah as well is not my idea of a love story. I was so hoping he was more loyal like his twin who only had eyes for Bronagh. Sadly as much as I wanted to read this I'll have to pass, Damien's dropped off my great H list. It's annoying that he got to sleeparound and she sounds like she only had one night years ago and only with Damien. I'm not up for that tired old double standard. I appreciate your reply, I just wish this was the epic love story I thought it was going to be.
In BRANNA, in that same conversation, Alannah revealed she has been in a sexual relationship with Dante, Aideen's brother, so Damien has been celibate since there one night together, she has not.
Really? Thanks for correcting me:) I must've read that wrong, I'll go back & refresh my memory. And good for Alannah then! Frankly it was about time he was celibate since he was with so many other girls while she had to watch it. Thank you:)
Hmm I just re-read that and Alannah never says she slept with Dante just that she was "kinda seeing him". And then Dante went after Damien "He thinks he can explain everythin’ to ‘im"...so to me it sounded like they were just hangin' and not much else.
It's implied it's sexual.
“It’s not a relationship,” I blurted. “We aren’t datin’. He is just ... there.”
“What the hell does that mean?” Aideen angrily snapped.
I didn’t look away from Damien’s back.
“He helped me get over you—”
“By getting under him?” he snapped.
Lol, yeah but because she never says outright she's sleeping with him I assumed she wasn't. Not a problem, I'll give it a try, like I said I do love the Slaters, Aideen was one of the funniest stories I've read in recent memory, I really loved it, it was 5+ star read for me.
