Softness Oh I know! The Horseriver hidden library is discovered. And there's this race to uncover the treasure of knowledge within. So there's a bunch of 'bad' shaman after it. But then Penric's shaman friends are trying to get to it first. Then there's this spirit animal battle and the bully-boy's wolf and Wencel's horse appear to kick butt. Maybe there's this other powerful sorcerer and Des gets to battle too! And then the library ends up catching fire and no one gets anything. ha ha but then Penric secretly saved some of the books for his own.

*wanders off mumbling to herself* ^^

Laura I didn't engineer this.

Angela Penrose Oh, if you're into the Great Courses, I highly recommend The Story of Human Language by John McWhorter. He's a great speaker, and very knowledgeable. The course is about language development, and is great for SFF writers who want to create languages with depth and realistic change over time. Aside from the fact that it's just a great watch/listen. :)

Talli Ruksas Hmm, you may be Betan, but you're not getting any younger. Get to it :)

Celtic None of us are getting any younger but it sure beats the alternative! Amongst the blessings of getting older, a new book by a favourite author is that most marvelous of things - a good friend you haven't met before - and all the better for being unexpected. If inspiration doesn't strike, then there are plenty of old friends to spend some more time with. Thank you for all of them Lois.
