William Furney Thanks, Greer. I am almost an exclusive Audible reader these days. I have about 50 pages left to go in TWBU and just yesterday noticed the cover similarity. I mean...cover art on my smartphone for Audible books is pretty small, thus the lag between buying it and actually seeing the cover detail.

Anyway, I invite you to read Black Hearts White Bones. It is well-written with excellent reviews. It is "something different" that agents say they are looking for but...no joy. I suspect it might have something to do with perception...that it's hard to believe a guy could write about two women. But love and obsession are universal, right?

Honestly, it's a kick in the pants to know that my cover concept is in the same league as big house publishing and I appreciate your reply. I hope you'll give Bonny and Read a chance...they certainly deserve it. And us independents need all the love we can get!

Jackie Mr Furney, if it's any consolation, I saw your book as a result of this thread and have added it to my to-read list. Looks very interesting.
