John As a fellow pseudonymous author, just curious where yours came from.

Keiry Honestly, I like that you used a (unisex) ambiguous name. I thought you were a female author and I liked the empowerment your female characters had. As I read your two Riley Sager books, I felt your female characters were "non-tradition" (not as feminine/not damsels in distress who need to be saved) they were survivors and fixed their own problem - which is what made me assume you were female. Finding out you were a male made me appreciate your writing even more. I felt you did a magnificent job encompassing the female psychology and you did that without the over sexualization of female characters. They both had issues, survived horrible things, clung on to certain people, but when the push came to shove they fought back for their lives. Very tasteful writing. As a woman, I really appreciated this. Can't wait to read whatever you write up next!!

Sunny Lageschulte Well I won't be reading any more of your books after learning you use a pseudonym. I like my authors to be real.

Liz Sunny, writing under a pseudonym isn't new. In fact many authors do it separate types of works.

Readergirl77 I just learned you wrote some other stuff under other names. Added them to my to-read list to check them out. :)

Closet Rebel Also Riley could be mistaken as a female author and ~70% of readers are women and many prefer women authors.

Tough for a male author not writing sci-fi or war novels to break out.
