I’m surprised you’ve never heard of a manic pixie dream girl. I would love for you to write a female main character, but don’t expect it to happen. It would be lovely since you don’t make all of your girls “girly.” But here I’m really just asking if you could write these books so that the boy isn’t spending a chapter explaining he doesn’t have a male best friend.
