I understand what you mean but what about the guy? I mean they clearly are not a celibate in anyway and hook up with many random women so what makes them stand out? What makes them worthy of the heroine? I just don't think it's fair that heroine has wait so long but the guy has a ton of experience. Anyway I was reading desperately seeking epic and it was such a touching book, I cried so much and honestly it inspired me to live adventurously. But I didn't like how Clara slut shamed women who wore revealing clothes and flirted and looked down on them calling them trashy. Does she look down on women who have causal sex or slept with lots of men? It's a shame cos otherwise I loved her character. A women's worthiness isn't determined by the number of her sexual partners. Sleeping with loads of guys doesn't make a women any less amazing, right? :)
