So even though the books and even the TV show are popular, the publisher gets to choose?
@Deborah: Absolutely. All power lies with the publishers. Her contract was for 3. She can't just write another one and shop it to another publisher, I'm sure that violates her current contract with that series. Plus why would she waste time on writing another one that isn't already contracted? Authors do not have much power. :/ Looking forward to her new book though! October is quickly approaching!
