Maybe it's the fact that I stare at a computer screen most of the day, but I really enjoy sitting on my front porch in the evening, listening to an excellent narrator's performance of a great book.
Per my previous comment, James Marsters reading of Harry Dresden, or Stephen Fry's obviously loving performance of Sherlock Holmes (similar to Grover reading Vorkosigan) are as hard to turn off, as it has always been for me to put down a really good book.
