I think because they were stand alones and were a different subject that's all. I love the afflicted H theme and then the fee you generated throughout was what I loved most. I don't have the same connection with your Ghosts books. To be fair I haven't read your last two because of I couldn't feel it anymore. I just recently went back and reread your To beguile A Beast and fell in love all over. Te Raven Prince though is my favorite. I have read that too many times to count. A timeless story about a man with a poor self image hot for a secretary but afraid to follow through. After I sent my question I saw that you have more to add to this series. I wish you well. Your very talented.
