I agree so much with your statement about the female characters. There are still a few that are the "normal" female, but most of those don't stay that long once they are around Jane.

Me too, there's so few authors who write genuinely strong female characters, who can have meaningful relationships with men that including genuine friendships family and partner/s of both types, without having the women then losing all brain cells or ability to save herself. I love that you avoid that and give us so much more because of it in your stories.
