I read this answer yesterday, and randomly found a hard copy version of Galatea at the Waterstones checkout counter today (I was there for a different book). What a coincidence! Wasn't planning on reading it but bought it just because Madeline said there wasn't a hard copy and I was worried I wouldnt get another chance lol

A bit late now but I have seen the hard copy floating in around more niche bookstores - not large chains (But still chains) . I remember it being in Berkelouw but that's in Autralia
