Thank you for getting back to me. Being a shallow manwhore is not being complicated if that's what he does. That's just being sleazy. I'm trying to read btw the lines in your comment and I don't think this is a series I would enjoy. I am not interested in reading a H being a manslut while the h is celibate. That is sexist and IMO degrading to women, that the man gets plenty while the woman pines alone. This is what this is sounding like to me. If I have understood this incorreclty and he is in fact loyal to the h or she also gets to be with OM then please feel free to set me straight & I'll give this series a shot.
I can't say whether you'll like the series or not, but there's definitely more to Arlo than meets the eye, and through reading the three stories, you get a much better of understanding of him as a person (and of London).
Once their relationship begins in earnest, there's definitely no point at which he's getting plenty and she's pining. In fact, if anyone is pining it's him (but don't worry, she's not unfaithful, either). But like I said, I can't give too much away without revealing spoilers, but a fair portion of all the books demonstrates how he grows/grows up into a man who is capable both of loving, and being loved deeply, and who amply proves himself worthy of London's love.
I'm a feminist, and I don't consider my books to be sexist. There's a a fair balance of feeling (and heartache) between the hero and heroine, in my opinion, but again, I can't say if you'll agree.
Once again thanks for taking the time to reply. So this isn't another one of those stories where she has to witness him having sex with OW and practically straight after seeing that she jumps into bed with him? Because lately that seems to be the thing & I'm sick of it frankly. Makes the woman look like an a brainless bimbo.
As I have said, I can't give away spoilers, and everything is open to personal interpretation, but judging from your comments, I feel like maybe this isn't the book for you.
All the best.
