definitely Amy Tan, also I am currently reading 'Before we Visit the Goddess' by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni, about mothers and daughters. Tamarind Mem by Anita Rau Badami, and also her book Can you hear the Nightbird Call.

Happily i still have some of your books to read, I have the 2nd and 3rd Red Princess books to read. I don;t think i've read China Dolls yet, according to Goodreads it's still on my want to read list. so yay, one more to look forward to, and it looks really really good

Oh and by the way finally there is a book giveaway for us Canadians, for your new book . i am always complaining when its not open to Canadians, I entered of course .fingers and toes crossed.
