Jennasis I would read that!

Alex I'd read them, though contributing to an anthology is the usual route for those kinds of stories.

Sheri Trust me, we would read them. Many authors publish short stories in ebook form first. One of the series I read publishes them all as independent ebooks then she published a collection of them when she had a bunch. Her series readers bought every one and we love them. Another author publishes them as ebooks then also adds it to a hard copy book as an extra at the end for people who don’t read ebooks. Short stories keep us interested while we’re waiting for the next book and they bring in new readers to the series. They’re an easy way for someone to try out a series before diving in. Some authors use them to explain details there isn’t time for in a novel. You know, all those many many questions we ask you again and again lol. Give us some short stories please!

Velma I also would love to read stories about the Verus Universe not having Alex as a (main) character or included at all...

Jelena I would love to read them

James Koss My experience is side-stories being lesser quality than the main story. Seems like a bad distraction.

Sara I would read them.
