Yuck. According to my Google results (which we know are ALWAYS accurate) it's illegal for someone to profit from your copyrighted work/quotes without your written permission. Of course then you have to decide if it's worth fighting them.
A collateral question: is it legal for someone to make a *personal* item using a published quote? That thought crossed my mind recently when the idea of a cross-stitched "What is love but delight in another person" sampler would have made a dandy wedding gift.... had I had the time and creativity to produce it :-)
