Susan Brilliant response. Can I use your first sentence when grading? It’s so nice yet pointed.

Lois Bujold @Susan -- sure, fair use, just give me a credit.
...or do what pro writers and armies of student report writers do, rephrase it into your own words.

Softness "I'm an inspiring writer." Hmm... You had that twice in different questions. Maybe they were bots?

Lois Bujold It can be hard to tell, with questions like that, if they are people struggling with ESL or other handicaps, or trolls. (Or, indeed, the victims of their devices' Autocorrupt functions.) Erring on the side of charitable interpretations seems the way to go, but if many of these start showing up, I could see myself getting a lot shorter.

Goodreads also gives the author the option of skipping dubious questions, which I maybe should use more often.

Softness You have a kind nature. I like that about you. <3

Susan She's a teenager with (apparently) a limited vocabulary. I don't think her misspellings can be blamed on autocorrect, either. But it is good of you to be kind to her.
