After reading this I recommended it to my mother and she read it and loved it because she can relate to some of the character because they were immigrants from another country (we are from Mexico), and after you responded I got so excited and told her right away- she wanted to let you know "that you are a very smart, open-minded feminist and I love you because I'm a feminist, too." Thank you and I can't say just how much we both admire you as an author and a person!
