Thank you! When I self-publish, I control all of those decisions but it's up to the publisher (Random House) how or IF they promote a book on their list. I was told Dragons was available through NetGalley.
I’ll go to my account there to request a copy, in order to submit a review. I’ll also be sure to go to other sites as well. Thanks.
Thanks! a librarian on Twitter just let me know THE DRAGON THIEF is available for request on NetGalley!
My kids are entranced. It's been so hard to find fantasy for them (k-1) that isn't totally white or white with cultural stereotypes mixed in. Looking up City Kids now!
Thank you! the good news is--Random House has offered us a contract for Book #3 and #4 so the dragon series will continue...

It’s unfortunate that the publisher is, possibly, unable to see the full potential in this charming book. Perhaps that will change. It is my prayer that this will be so. Personally, I applaud you for bringing to life a character who looks like my children and me, for that matter. There is not enough diversity in books. Your book was a very welcome surprise. You presented a delightful, intelligent, curious character who is on the verge of growth on so many levels. 🙌 Don’t stop telling the story. It’s so worth it. Let me know how I can help pass the word along, and I will. I can post your PR info on my blog and to my homeschooling platforms.
Are you promoting the book through NetGalley?
