Emma I love this answer! Just got finished reading the Iliad and Odyssey for one of my classes, and it's true that Circe, even in the Odyssey, is different from the other women. Helen is kind of the stereotypical, weak woman portrayed by Homer, but with Circe, you can tell she has power and a spirit even when its being repressed. So I love that you chose to explore her complexity because it does peek through in the Odyssey, for sure.
