Kylia I agree with all of the above, though Jake and Adrien to have something of a cameo in Holmes in Moriarty, so one could say that series takes place in the same universe?

deadrun @Kylia I think there's a fair bit of shared universe, I love when authors do that! XD
Fair Game references Adam Darling (Tucker's ex) from The Winter Kill who's story is takes place during The Monet Murder from the Art of Murder series.
And I think I could be wrong but in one of the Adrien English books (This is Christmas) the West family is mentioned.
@Chappy, if you liked Adrien English I feel confident that you'll like Lanyon's other works.
All her MC's are pretty funny and snarky but Christopher Holmes is super funny and his books are border line ridiculous and wonderful. If you like audio books Keven R Free is such a great and funny listen!
Jason is snarky but a bit more melancholy as Sam is pretty emotionally unavailable but the slow burn is very worth it. If you want to lowkey sniffle these books a great. Also if you like audio books Kale Willams is an underrated narrator. He's got a nice even and charming tone to his voice and he nails Jason's deadpan snarker. :D

Galatea I agree with Josh's answer. Also, if you'd like a very good stand alone, I'd recommend "Stranger on the Shore". Or "The Ghost Wore Yellow Socks" and it's short sequel "The Ghost Had an Early Checkout". They are all great.

Melissa Exactly what Stephanie said about Holmes and Moriarty series. The snark is superb and the audio fabulous. I literally just finished listening to book 4 yesterday. AND I CANNOT WAIT TO RE-LISTEN. 😁

Kenneth Hinton Definitely read the Holmes and Moriarty series because Adrien English gets mentioned in that series.
