As a workaround I tried googling "goodreads the man who owns Vorkosigan Vashnoi" and found this one: https://www.goodreads.com/questions/8...
By golly, that work-around just worked for me, to find the answer to the perpetual Star Trek fanfic question that I'd hoped to answer once for all time, and then lost. I wanted to have the link handy to repost whenever the subject came up, so I didn't have to keep typing out the same answer.

Lois tut tut. Your Impsec characters are dreadfully ashamed of you only now discovering that searching google is often better than internally searching a website. ;)
My fingers have learned to type site: by themselves by now. i.e. site:goodreads.com is the command to use on google to search only here.
What is the best format? It seems to work this way to search for "garden" -- at least it brought up two items: https://www.goodreads.com/author/1609... garden
