Oh excellent!! I just read that short story for the first time this last year. I'm far enough in to book two now to say that reading it has definitely helped me bump Haggard up on my list of to-reads. Love your work, and I can't wait for Mesmerizing Girl. In the meantime, I'm going to have to hunt down your short stories!
