Fraser Turner Yes it is a recent discovery! I had started with the World of the Five Gods books through the library, and then I discovered they had a dozen or more from the Vorkosigan Universe (yay Leo!)

Some Sci-Fi/Fantasy can feel dated (ST-TOS Season 1 I'm looking at you), but these were fresh and engaging :) Thank you!

Scott Oh, Fraser, you have no idea how much more fun you're in for. If you enjoyed The Warrior's Apprentice, it's going to get better.

Ashleigh Mattern I LOVE Grover Gardener's reading of the books in the Vorkosigan saga!

Fraser Turner I have to agree with Scott and Ashleigh!

It's amazing how much a good voice actor makes a difference. I've now listened to all except for "Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen," many of them twice! They've made my commute something to look forward to :)

Now that we're in our permanent home I'm going to be building my SF library slowly but surely (with the intention of introducing my kids to my favourite authors as they get older). The Vorkosigan Saga is definitely going to be highlighted!

Thanks for the wonderful and varied stories, and the mature/complex themes with all those shades of grey :)
