Is there anything in the intro that those of us who have purchased the ebooks from the first should know?
I'm not sure what you are asking. There are some anecdotes on how the story was first developed, and descriptions of my process.

Okay, I'm good with that. I have read most of your essays on process. I asked because recently another favorite author dropped two new stories into an anthology of previously published works, all of which I had purchased
individually. I'm still a bit chapped by that.
Mm, but such an addition is a boon for new readers. It's really not possible, from the publisher's side, to fine-tune a collection by which stories this or that reader might or might not have read before.
(Once can do so with e-tales sold ala carte, but that bears its own set of downsides.)
