Thanks for the answer! I just discovered Doctor Who a couple of years ago through my fiancé, and I was delighted to read that you were a fan. He also got me interested in reading more science fiction, and thus I picked up your book and loved it. I read The Martian so quickly, because I couldn't put it down! It's brilliant, and I want to thank you for making a complicated and erudite subject accessible for everyone. Math and science have never been my forte or especially interesting to me, but you have actually managed to change my perception. I have a feeling a lot of other people are feeling the same way after having read your book.
I forgot to ask! Are you going to publish your DW fan fiction? I would love to read it!
