Grant That's what I'm talking about though. In book one, after he feed on the dragon he started to heel so fast that when the goblins scouts shot him outside east gate his body pushed the bolts out so fast he didn't even have time to put his hands on the shafts while he was in the middle of a battle. In the second book the wounds were healing markedly slower. I could understand the one if it was being described as as going all the way through and getting stuck on bone, but what about the other 3. It's never brought up way they don't heal like they should and future injures with bullets seem to heal slower as well.

Garon Whited So, shortly after having a good dose of dragon ichor, his flesh is regenerating well enough to push out crossbow bolts (Well, bolts from wimpy little goblin crossbows.) Later, after being attacked and poisoned by a demon-eating demon, as well as being starved for a few decades, his regeneration isn't quite up to that standard?
Weird. I wonder what could account for that?

Grant Point taken. So was it just that we never saw him shot with arrows again because he's so fast that gave the illusion that his healing never fully recovered or was he permanently nerfed?

Garon Whited I think we're mistaking him "recovering" for him being temporarily enhanced by dragon ichor. There are a number of temporary side-effects to eating things he shouldn't. It's hard to get a handle on his defaults, though, because of his irregular diet of dragons, monsters, and gods.
