I was talking about Recall the demon summoner. We never found out what happened to him after Erik was possessed.
Oh, him. Yes, we do find out what happens to him. It's right there at the end of "Shadows," just before the Epilogue.
Damn, can't believe I missed that. I also feel kinda sad. Such an obvious and predictable end and Recall did nothing to prepare for it. One question though. Why couldn't Firebrand tell the difference between the Demon King and Erik when it was so obvious to Bronze. Also, are you ever going to name the Demon King? It really is more like Erik's psychic child at this point than a straight up clone of him. Not only does it have the traits it inherited from the Devourer, but it also has all the memories from the former Princes as well so it really is it's own being deserving of its own name.
Tell Eric that. See how he reacts. Eric seems quite content to refer to the Demon King by the title, or "the Orb," or "the rat bastard," or any number of other less complimentary names.
I think Erik would rather just refer to him in the past tense, as in dead. I don't think Erik can really qualify as an unbiased opinion on this particular subject. Not that I can blame him.
