Sean Borders One of the reasons I keep coming back to your books, and why I recommend them, is for that ethical bent that you take. It is very different than what I have read over the years. I am glad you rephrased the question, I was not happy with the way I wrote it. On a side note, as a high school counselor who used to live in Berkshire County, I have to ask about the influence that Williams College had on you and your writing.

L.E. Jr. In terms of my writing, Williams had a tremendous impact, especially the late Professor Clay Hunt, who mentored my senior writing project and provided the most effective model [although neither he nor I realized it at the time] for my future relations with editors and publishers.

Sean Borders Thank you. It has been surreal "talking" to a writer I have admired and enjoyed for well over a decade.

L.E. Jr. Thank you. I hope I can keep writing well enough to keep providing that enjoyment.
