Penny I wish I was a publisher, Seth ... I would gobble you up and feed you treats for every paragraph. The Cormorant books are brilliant! I hope you have fun with them again.

Daniel N. For what it's worth, your writing (short stories, novels, and other projects) changed my life in a ton of ways. Your insight, world-building, choice of subjects, language, and approaches to storytelling have been some of the most profound drivers of my personal and intellectual growth since I first found your work on Blue Planet eight years ago. Your writing continues to be an inspiration and I can't see that changing anytime soon. Wishing you all the best, and looking forward to Baru, Exordia, and whatever else you create.

Emily for what it's worth Baru is one of the most devastatingly beautiful things I've ever read and inspired me to scour the internet for your short fiction which has never disappointed. I can't express enough the emotions your writing makes me feel.

Harlan F. Mitford Hi, Seth, I'm compelled to tell you that your writing, your style, your insights into human nature, your insights into institutions, your ability to write characters, everything about your writing is otherwordly good. Your writing is heroic. It's in a class of its own. I've fought with the noontide demon too, and I know how he can make blessings feel like curses. I hope you're doing okay. Thank you for your prose and imagination and your willingness to share it with us.
