Deborah Pickstone oh...and also Stephanie Thornton! And thanks for reading my review :)

Michael Keyton Henry Treece is worth checking out too - in particular Jason, and Electra. To some he may be dated. I don't think he has. I did read one online critic who criticised his male chauvenism, which I think misses the point. Treece was getting into the head of boy damaged in childhood by women, and living in a bronze aged macho culture. I'm ramblng, so just saying: Henry Treece

Barbara Bryant YES! I read "A Day of Fire" last year, which eventually led me to "The Alice Network." Two completely different stories, and but equally superb writing! Kate Quinn, I love how you can take any time period and put me there in the moment with flawed, compelling characters. PS re: "A Day of Fire:" Last summer the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry had an exhibit with artifacts from Pompeii, which made the novel even more real to me. Mt Vesuvius destroyed Pompeii in August 79 AD. More than 1900 (nearly TWO THOUSAND) years later, scientists have replanted vineyards from grape seeds preserved in the ashes. Awe inspiring.

Bakhat Yar I just finished reading your latest article on Goodreads, and wow, what a captivating piece! Your ability to weave historical fiction with such depth and authenticity always leaves me in awe. I was completely immersed in the world you created, feeling like I was right there alongside your characters, experiencing every twist and turn.

Your attention to detail is impeccable, and it's clear that you put a lot of research into your writing. The way you bring history to life, blending facts with fiction seamlessly, is truly commendable. Not only did I enjoy the thrilling plot, but I also learned so much about the time period and the intricacies of the characters' lives.

Looking forward to diving into more of your work!
