Hi Robert, just adding my .02 as a huge fan, you will Absolutely love Riyria ... there is so much to rave about, the main characters and the ensemble, the adventures, the plot twists,... I wish I were you with those wonderful books lying in wait for me! FWIW, I read them initially in publication order completing Revelations and then enjoying the backstory of Chronicles. I had thought that was the best way to do it. But then I read them again in chronological order and, wow! the ending has even more punch! Having not read anything of Michael's before I read Theft of Swords, I found I did read it more slowly than his later books because, as he explained in his response above, it was his first and didn't quite have the pacing. He blew me away at the end though and I immediately started Rise of Empire and then blew through every one! ...then Chronicles and then Legends. I envy the road ahead for you and am looking forward to Michael's next series as well! ENJOY!!!
