That would be funny, and you are right on both counts. The whole time I was reading the story from Mike's perspective I couldn't help but think "Yeah, but where is the real danger. Can't Erik just swallow this whole horde, teleport your whole squad home and still have time to complete his tests on the original shrieker before dawn? " Still, the conflict between Trip and Eric could make for one funny short!
