No, that doesn't describe half the romance novels out there. The details are pretty specific. The concept of hiring a guy to get her pregnant is not that common, for one. And the part about her cycle doesn't show up in most books. And What's the Name of That Book us a great place for answers.
Ask a librarian. You'd be amazed how much of this stuff they know.
It truly is the job of reference librarians in public libraries to answer such questions. Call one!
It sounds like a story in the Liaden Universe, Miller and Lee.
