Note that I am leaving this group open for sign up, because I believe that we have too many conflicts to make a workable schedule and there were other members signed up to the request.R.

This has never been the case at GSRG. Moderators, in the past, have suggested in the guidelines that reviewers consult with the author if a review will be negative (1 or 2 stars) but never for a 3 star review. The moderators discussed this and felt that it was not a policy that we feel is appropriate and discontinued its use.
If a reviewer wishes, he or she may contact the author to see if a negative review should be kept private. It is against the code of conduct for an author to initiate a request that a review be altered or removed. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
