I am reading The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. There are multiple story lines in the book, but the two main stories focus on a boy and a girl, Celia and Marco, who both have magical abilities. They don't know it, but their fathers have been training them their whole lives to duel each other. They meet (and fall in love, of course) at the night circus - a circus that appears and disappears without warning and is only open at night.
