Hello everyone! I’m Taya, a high schooler in Canada. I’m still a newbie to classics, but I absolutely love the Victorian era so far. My favourite classics are “Phantom of the Opera” by Gaston Leroux and “Wuthering Heights” by Emily Brontë. I’m also a violinist, pianist, and polyglot, so I greatly enjoy books that incorporate music and old English into them.

Does anyone have any Russian-lit recommendations before I read Anna Karenina and Brothers Karamazov? Like a stepping-stone book to prepare myself? I’ve never read any Russian-lit before.
