I have to say I am rubbish at buddy reads. I could not wait until the appointed date to start reading The Count of monte Cristo and have, in fact, already finished.
It was really very good and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did 😊

Loved A Tale of Two Cities and David Copperfield … would highly recommend both 😊

I have read David Copperfield ***** and The Mayor of Casterbridge **** this month. At this stage I’m thinking of starting Agnes Grey Just so many beautiful books to choose from 😊

I also started Liljecronas hem, by Selma lagerlof, as part of..."Hi Cecilia. I too am listening to Richard Armitage and David Copperfield. So far 3 hours in and loving it !!

I read To the Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf ***. The Sittaford Mystery by Agatha Christie ***. reread Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte ****. But the definite highlight for the month was Dombey and Son by Charles Dickens which I started at the end of January
A big ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for that one

Just a few chapters in and enjoying already 😊

Another vote for the Sittaford Mystery 😁

I too am loving this and having a problem putting it down at the end of the section. Luckily, I have another couple of great reads on the go at the moment to make it easier to be patient.

February sounds good for me too 👍🏻

Marking this in my calendar 👍🏻

Happy to wait until everyone is ready for action 😊

Loved the first 5 chapters. Can’t wait for the next section !!

Hi everyone I would love to be included in this read 😊

Just read it for victober It was fun. I’m sure you will enjoy!!

Have already got underway with the Wuthering Heights buddy read and am waiting for House of Mirth to be delivered

Thanks Lucy and a Happy New Year/Decade to everyone !!

Hi everyone. I read Wuthering Heights a lifetime ago and was determined to reread this year, so would be very happy to be included in this group read

Hi all. Read many classics this year especially during “Victober”. Have definitely fallen in love with Anthony Trollope and am currently 4 volumes into the Barsetshire Chronicles. In 2020 I intend to finish that series and to discover more of his stand alone works. Also looking forward to rereading Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre which I read many years ago. Of course I intend to finish this year with Charles Dickens and A Christmas Carol 😉
