I was thinking of blogging about the superman problem - the hazards of giving a character too much magical power. I'd love to know what others think about this.

I loved Xanth in A Spell for Chameleon. It was whimsical & clever. The series kind of wore on me after a bit though - too punny. I think a world you can picture in your mind, that is unique, but relatable in some way makes for a memorable world.
