Hi Carol, your book has just arrived from Accent, and I will be getting to it soon. What fascinating info about 11th-c cosmetics. That's not something I'd ever thought about before. I'm wondering if there was anything unexpected about the experiences of medieval women (or of your female characters) that you came across in your research, things that made you change direction or which simply surprised you?
