A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab, on my TBR since April 2016. 🫣 This is a great prompt!

Six Scorched Roses by Carissa Broadbent. A lovely novella from the Crowns of Nyaxia universe, this had a lot of emotional punch. I look forward to seeing more of these characters in future books.

Little late, but finally started mine: Belladonna by Adalyn Grace. Been wanting to read this one for a while and it seems to be living up to the hype.

Kinda getting caught up on these challenges, but I read Ensorcelled by Sylvia Mercedes. It’s the third book in Prince of the Doomed City series, and is about a girl who is tasked as a librarian in a library full of magical nightmares that could destroy the world. The series is unfinished, but each book builds on its predecessor in the best ways, and the world is so fun.

I always have too many books I want to read for each prompt. This month it will be The Hobbit by Tolkien, and Atonement by Ian McEwan.

There are SO MANY books I wanna read for this challenge it may just be the theme for what I read in February, haha! Even so, I easily narrowed it down to the third book in The War of Lost Hearts trilogy, Mother of Death and Dawn by Carissa Broadbent which will be released on the 10th. Tisaanah is one of the fiercest female protagonists I have ever read and I’m so excited to finish her journey!
