10630 back to mythogoly kenny i believe left off at Cronus who castrated his father so he could rule. and then ate his kids so that couldn't happen to him (gross eh) his wife Rhea(cronus sister) found out got pissed tricked him and voila we get zues. The other children were later coughed up due to trickery by zues.
Aphrodite- supposedly daughter of Uranus so cronus's sister but her birth is a little iffy

so Basically Cronus and the other titans had kids
(Titans orginal gods were giant sized)
their kids the olympian gods overthrew them and took over. Their kids being
Zues-cronus's son and leader of the gods shoots lighting bolt and a bit of a slut married to hera
Poseidon- god of ocean hangs out in the sea power over water brother to Zues
Hades- god of the underworld hangs out with 3 headed dog brother to zues and poseidon
Hestia-sister of zues, has followers the hestian virgins
Hera -sister to zues and also wife I think she looked after marraiages or something thing like that
Demeter-goddess of grain agricultre sister to zues.

After being coughed up by their father they were a little angry zues worked them up and they overthrew the titans after a long bloody battle. zues exiled the titans to Tartarus. except for atlas who holds the world on his shoulder and Prometheus-said to have created man and gave the gift of fire. he fought for zues's team

10630
I'm not religous but I was raised christian. lets not forget that man wrote the bible okay and man's prespective gets skewed a lot over time do you realize how many versions of bibles are out there now. I was reading a bible the other day and it was not the same as the bible I read when i was younger.

I believe that other gods do exist or did exist at one point in history because their is too much of humanities history that have more than one god. We talk of greek mythology today but back in that time it wasn't myth it was real they worshipped these beings Gods and I believe that if you worship something/someone you give it/them power. wether that power is real or imagined is another thing. but who's to say whats real.

10630 well why is that hard to believe christianity would have us believe the same thing right god created the heavens and the earth out of nothing... at least Uranus had a mate to create with god did it all by himself.
and if you're assuming that Uranus made Gea because he created the night sky maybe that isn't necessarliy true maybe uranus created the night sky and Gea created life.

Gea is a recurring figure in a various forms of mythology/ancient belief. "she's" not literally the planet but rather the life force of the planet without her nothing would grow. no plants no rivers no humans etc
